Guatemalan Earthquake to Come: 2012 or Tomorrow?

Shivering and quaking in Antigua, Guatemala

I was moved to post a blog regarding an earthquake experienced in Costa Rica a few months back in a partial attempt to try and keep a live feel to this blog. As I keep my ear close to the ground (probably the very best thing to do for the latest seismic feel on the subject) I now attempt to go one better and peek into the earthquake future.

The result of my findings is that a strong earthquake is due in Guatemala in the near future.

Considering all the extensive hype related to planet-ending Mayan predictions for 2012 I would hate to think this prediction is related but my source although perhaps having Mayan blood coursing through its veins is based on ground-zero experience…

I hadn’t been in Guatemala very long at all before I discovered that “earthquake” is a resonant word around the old city of Antigua at the very least. Raul had welcomed me graciously as he does every guest at his amicable and well run hostel in the centre of Antigua, Guatemala – Hotel Welcome to Stay (perhaps the most originally named place I have stayed at on this tour, though I then wondered if perhaps Antigua specialises in creative and/or surprising names for hotels having spotted another around the corner uninvintingly named “Hotel La Sin Ventura” (which can cheekily be translated as Hotel Without The Adventure).

On my first evening at the “Welcome to Stay”, there was a fresh wind blowing down through the surrounding mountains which in the night bordered on cold – not helped in my case by the fact that I did not discover the availability of blankets until the next morning when I tripped over an attractively and cosily stacked unused pile in the room next door. That morning I commented on my surprise at the cold to Raul and he offered me a destabilising backhanded reassurance in that it was a rare phenomenon. “Actually it was rarer than anything they had experienced since 1976”. Next followed the destabilising part of the reassurance. “Yes,” he said, “all the older people are saying that this resembles that time in 1976. That was the last time the temperature dipped this low and that was accompanied by one of largest earthquakes in living memory. They are also thinking about what has been happening on this continent in Haiti and Chile recently so the older people are sure that Guatemala is next.”

I do hope the older people are wrong and the Mayans even more so!

The old people have seen this

Wikipedia says on the subject:
Earthquakes are relatively frequent occurrences in Guatemala. The country lies in a major fault zone, known as the Motagua and Chixoy-Polochic fault complex, which cuts across Guatemala and forms the tectonic boundary between the Caribbean plate and the North American plate.

A very distant afterthought: older people in the UK say that 1976 was the hottest summer ever. I wonder, if Guatemala does indeed suffer from an unwelcome earthquake, does that mean that Great Britain would be headed for a very long overdue rainless hot summer? Maybe the Mayans have the answer to that one too!

  1. Ali Adams Says:

    Quran and Prime Numbers
    ———————–
    Prime numbers are used in cryptology. Cryptology is the study of using secret writing. This is used to keep some government information secret. It is also used on the Internet to keep sensitive information private. For example, if you buy something on the Internet with a credit card, two large prime numbers are used to send your card details to the online store to keep your credit card number safe and prevent other from steeling your money.

    Almighty God also used prime numbers to hide information behind the holy text of “The Quran” or “The Readable” (Islam’s book) which literally means readable despite being encrypted or cipher text.

    The Key
    ——-
    Subhan Allah who built chapter Al-Fatiha using prime numbers and named it Al-Fatiha not because it is the opening of the book but the Opener or The Key to the rest of The Book.

    This chapter (Al-Fatiha or The Key) consists of 7 verses, 29 words, and 139 letters. All are prime numbers. What’s more, their digit sums (7=7, 2+9=11 and 1+3+9=13) are also prime numbers, and the sum of these sums (7+11+13 = 31) is yet another prime number!

    Not only that, even joining these numbers left-to-right 729139 and right-to-left 139297 results is prime numbers too! Simply revealing!!! Now maybe we can appreciate why it is called The Key.

    The Message
    ———–
    More evidence that Al-Fatiha is The Key and not merely the opening chapter is also encoded in the Quran itself.

    Although the number of chapters (114) and the total number of verses (6236) are not prime numbers, if we consider the Quran as two parts, a Key and a Message, then:

    Quran = Key + Message
    114 = 1 + 113 chapters
    6236 = 7 + 6229 verses

    where 1, 113, 7, and 6229 are primes and their digit sums (1=1, 1+1+3=5, 7=7, 6+2+2+9=19) are primes too. Although since 1900AD, 1 is considered not a prime but simply The Unit of all numbers.

    Quran and 2012
    —————
    Quran chapter #55 (The Merciful) has 31 repetitions of:
    “فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ”
    “What other bounties of your Sustainer do you still belie?”

    Not only 31 is a prime number but the sum of the 31 verse numbers 13 + 16 + 18 + 21 + 23 + 25 + 28 + 30 + 32 + 34 + 36 + 38 + 40 + 42 + 45 + 47 + 49 + 51 + 53 + 55 + 57 + 59 + 61 + 63 + 65 + 67 + 69 + 71 + 73 + 75 + 77 = 1433 is also a prime number and its digit sum (1+4+3+3 = 11) is yet another prime number.

    But this is nothing compared to what we learn when we realize that the current Islamic year is 1431AH. This magic sum 1433 could indeed be a reference to the Hijri year 1433AH but this can easily be dismissed as a mere speculation or wishful thinking. That is until we learn that this chapter consists of exactly 355 words including Bism Allah Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem, the same number of words as the number of days in the Hijri year 1433AH! Even more remarkably, despite most Hijri years having 354 days, 1433AH is a leap year and thus will have 355 days in sha Allah. This undeniably suggests that every word in this chapter represents a day in the year 1433AH and as we have 31 repetitions of the above verse that consists of four Arabic words, then each repetition represents four days in the year 1433AH where the first repetition maps to 7-10 January 2012 and the last repetition maps to 4-7 November 2012.

    2012 Speculations
    —————–
    It is therefore speculated (no evidence yet) that 31 events are to take place between 7 January 2012 and 7 November 2012 each lasting four days and if these events are any kind of a meteorite shower then each event would leave a trail around the Earth as it spins four times on its axis in four days along the same latitude repeating four times. That mean, there would be 31 danger latitudes that people should avoid and as Allah named the chapter The Merciful, He has encoded these latitudes in the numbers of the repeated verse itself (i.e. latitude 13, 16, 18, .., 77). Al-hamdu liAllah Rabb Al-3aalemeen, Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem.

    If indeed the first event occurs along latitude 13 then we all should know that the next one will be along latitude 16, followed by latitude 18 and so on until latitude 77.

    Beyond 2012
    ———–
    This in no way suggest that the World is going to end in 2012 as there is also another indirect reference to the year 1619AH in the same verses and only Allah knows best and controls all.

    May God, The Merciful, The Benevolent bless us all with guidance to His Light and keep us along the Right Path forever, in sha Allah.
